Breyerfest 2014 marks the 25th anniversary of this amazing event and in honor of that they have invited an amazing horse to be honored as the Celebration horse, Gooitzen fan Teakesyl. This amazing Friesian has taken the world by storm and with his illustrious owners and rider and is on his way to Lexington to introduce himself to thousands of Breyer collectors!

Each year Breyer invites one special horse to Breyerfest to have the honor of the Celebration Horse. This horse is the star of Breyerfest and is chosen very carefully each year. The celebration model is honored with not only top billing among the guest horses but is also created in model form that each three day ticket holder will get to bring home with them. In the past 25 years  Breyer has honored eventers, horses that have been in blockbuster movies, world champion breed horses, champion reining horses and that’s just the start. The alumni of Breyer event horses is impressive to say the least!

This year Gooitzen fan Teakesyl has been given the honor and with good right! This Friesian is a horse that has impressed each time he has entered the ring, and is sure to bring excitement to Breyerfest fans as well! This twelve year old Friesian gelding was imported to the US from Holland at three years old and has accumulated over 130 wins in the show ring since then.  What makes Gooitzen even more impressive is who is holding his reins in the show ring, Carson Kressley! Carson Kressley is a long time equestrian who not only has riding under his belt, but also showbiz! Carson has won an Emmy, been a television star and has even been on Dancing With The Stars! This pair is sure to impress everyone who gets a chance to see them in action, and Breyerfest attendees will get the lucky chance to!

Even if you won’t be in Kentucky to see them, Golden Oak Stables and Stable News will be bringing you coverage! So stay tuned and keep your eyes open for this amazing pair!
