Breyer Horse New Releases: Chico’s Challenge

Bringing together horses and the stories behind them is nothing new for Breyer. For decades Breyer has created literature’s most favorite horses for everyone to enjoy! In recent years Breyer has created their own novels specifically for horse lovers and collectors alike. Golden Oak Stables brings you a new novel and model in this series, new for 2012 that will have you on the edge of your seat as you read about Chico’s Challenge!

Chico’s Challenge is the story of a golden bay four year old Quarter Horse that finds himself living with a young girl, Sierra. Sierra and Chico are both inexperienced and while they have big dreams, they also have big challenges to overcome. Chico’s life before Sierra was filled with rolling grasslands and blue skies. With Sierra he must learn a whole new job, cow cutting. Chico’s enthusiasm is high and his energy is just a high as well, but he faces one major hurdle, he’s scare of cows! Can Sierra and Chico find a way to find strength and overcome his fears?

Breyer not only brings you Chico’s Challenge but along with this exciting book comes a model of Chico himself! Created on the classic American Quarter Horse Stallion mold, this spunky horse canters along with his free flowing mane and tail. His bright golden bay color shines and his deep black mane and tail create just the perfect amount of contrast! Black points on his legs lead down to four white socks of varying height. All and all, Chico is the perfect representation of a working cow horse, alert, active and ready for anything!

You can live the adventure of training a cow horse of your own with Chico. From his story to his novel you can experience just what Sierra did through the trials of training a horse, and herself to accomplish something! There’s no telling what anyone can accomplish when they put their mind to it, just look at Sierra and Chico!
