We all know that every year in July Breyer comes to Kentucky for the largest model horse convention in the world. As part of the event, they invite some of the most famous and well known horses to visit as guests of honor. Breyer even makes a model in the likeness of some of these horses!
This year welcomed a huge variety of horses from all different disciplines! The guest of honor and celebration model was All Glory, a champion Standardbred stallion owned by William and Elizabeth Shatner! This beautiful horse excels in both saddle and cart work and strutted his stuff for the crowds!
Straight out of the Guinness Book of World Records, Radar, the world’s largest horse stomped his way into Breyerfest in a big way! This 19 hand 3 1/2 inch (Around 6 ft 7 inches at the withers!) Belgian was a sight to be seen and was simply larger than life!
Isadora Cruce was a gorgeous medicine hat paint that has a deep heritage in the Spanish conquests of America. This chestnut paint mare was foaled in 2002 and became a quick favorite in the Breyer line on the popular Nokota mold.
A Western Champion, Fleetstreet Max was in attendance in grand style. This super star took his young rider from championing the amateur classes all the way to the championship open rings. He has gone on to set records in the show ring with 21 world titles! His flashy pinto markings made him a popular guest for many attendees!
Rounding out the guest list, O’Leary’s Irish Diamond is a stunning Irish Draught horse with a striking dapple grey coat. Scoring the highest scores of his entire year, O’Leary’s Irish Diamond became the only Irish Draught to be tested and approved in America!
